It’s been an amazing week!
We moved from San Francisco to Hong Kong! Enjoyed reading this article in South China Morning Post regarding living in Hong Kong. But also, i can totally see the point of view of this post right here.
Explored:
Golden Arcade in Shan Shui Po for everything computers! We’ve been told to go here for reasonably priced electronics and computers.
Mong Kok neighborhood for flower and bird markets.
Shim Sha Tsui for our first shabu-shabu! We didn’t really know what we were doing at the restaurant and it was really fun to try and figure it out! Here is an article i read afterwords about how to eat shabu-shabu.
Found a Mexican joint and some other great restaurants in Mid Levels.
Took the famous Mid Levels Escalators, which are a pretty unique way of transporting thousands of people in the surrounding areas.
Shopping is a big part of the culture here! It is very interesting to see that significant amount of people shop…a lot of luxury brands! I have not seen this type of shopping culture anywhere else in the world including places like Paris and New York. Here are some articles I’ve enjoyed about this subject:
Lastly, You can find some pics on my Hong Kong Instagram account!
Hope everyone had a great productive week!
